Miami has to beat NC State next weekend.
UNC has to lose to either NC State or Duke in their two remaining games.
UVA has to win out.
That means a 3-way tie atop the Coastal between Miami/GT/UVA, and we win that tiebreaker scenario I believe.
I hate having to rehash scenarios and root for other teams to win/lose in addition to Miami having to win. They controlled their own destiny and let it slip last night. Terrible. </div></div>
Sorry to break everybody's heart but VT controls their own destiny. If VT wins out it will be a 4 way tie at the top
(VT, Miami, GT and UNC). The tiebreaker would then go to VT because they have only one loss in the costal division while the other 3 have at least 2.

sorry to break everybody's heart, but the teams in this conference are just playing to be the best turd in a pile of crap.
Re: Miami in trouble early..
Not breaking any hearts man--all I did was break down the scenario needed for Miami to get in. VT does, indeed, control their own destiny--thusly why in my scenario I said that UVA needs to win-out.

hahaha you got to give them credit tho the ACC has more teams at or above .500 that alot of conferences
Re: Miami in trouble early..
I dont think the ACC is that bad. Its not a pretty conference at all but they have had a tremendous out of conference record this year and even in the most exteme cases have faired pretty well. Even Miami against possibly the best team in the nation was able to do alot better than what most SEC teams have against UF. Its the opposite of the Big 12 where noone can stop anyone but can put up a ton of points. The Big 12 is the new Pac 10 this year and those teams are getting a pass but Im not really sure they are that great. Anyway, lets stick to the topic here like CoeburnCane asked for otherwise this thread is going to be out of control.
This is the Miami/GT thread in case anyone forgot.

Exactly VT is in better position than any of the others to make it to the ACC/CG.

Exactly great point
Re: Miami in trouble early..
Unless GT makes it out of the Coastal the winner of the Atlantic Division will be ACC Champs.
Re: Miami in trouble early..
take away a stupid fumble by GT @FSU, GT wins that division
GT is th best team in that division
Re: Miami in trouble early..
Sorry to break your heart but the Big 12 has been the best conference in the land this year. Their games have been much better to watch than the QB weak SEC (with the exception of Tebow).
As for the Canes? Typical for a young team to wither once hit with some prosperity. I expected GT to win-not is such embarrassing fashion, but win regardless.
